Aarna - thank you for sharing the beginning of your writing with us. This was the first time that you joined our Powerful Writers' Club (7-9), and I am so pleased that you did! I can see from your writing that you have rubbed out ideas and thought of more powerful language - this is brilliant! You have chosen: a 'gold, yellow light' and 'Carefully, I tiptoed inside the tree through the brown, small door.'

Creative writing doesn't just happen - it takes time and often has lots of revisions. I think you will be a great writer if you keep on thinking carefully about your language choices like this. I'm really looking forward to writing with you again next week!
