As a qualified teacher with 15 years of classroom experience and five years specialising in 11+ writing tuition, I have developed a clear and systematic approach to teaching writing that breaks complex skills into manageable steps.

Students learn proven frameworks, repeatable structures and practical techniques that can be applied across a wide range of writing tasks and examination questions.

Every lesson builds on previous learning, helping children develop their skills with confidence. Alongside this, students receive personalised video feedback on both their classwork and homework each week, with clear next steps for improvement.

To make progress easy to understand, I also use colour-coded assessment grids that help parents and students see exactly what has been mastered and what to focus on next.

The result is a learning journey that is clear, measurable and motivating. Week by week, students develop into confident, successful writers prepared not only for 11+ examinations, but for the challenges of secondary school and beyond.
