The Circus - by Amaira

19.05.21

What a wonderful two-part story, Amaira! You have built a really exciting impression of the circus where this story is set; there is an elephant, a unicycle, the smell of popcorn, paint from the clowns and juggling balls! Your opening phrase, 'Starteld, I opened my eyes...' is a great way to get your reader interested in your story. This has a lovely structure and it leads us all the way through to the ending. Well done!

It is also important to let people know that with your sister, Eva, you have written a fantastic collection of 8 short stories (fables) and they are for sale on Amazon. They are brilliantly written, funny and have amazing illustrations.

The book is called: Short Stories: By the children, for the children!: Amazon.co.uk: Deotale, Eva, Deotale, Amaira: 9798594992122: Books

All proceeds of your book sale go to the charity 'Being Purple' (www.beingpurple.co.uk), which is a charity to promote awareness around disability and inclusion.
