Thank you for sharing this fantastic piece of writing Caron. You really thought about the technique of rhythmic writing - where you have used short, medium and long sentences. This creates a great reading experience, and it also creates tension. The short sentences (Weird / It wasn't there / Again / I found it!) really take us on a journey: from realising there is something strange, to worrying that yes, there really is something going on! Well done!
