Your writing for this picture has a wonderful style - it's packed with subtle humour using little observations to explain this very bizarre situation that Bob finds himself in. The image of him sitting on a bench contemplating life is very funny.

Thanks so much for sharing.

Let's read ...

Bob on a stormy day

Bob thought today would be the day to embrace the wonderful snowy streets; he couldn’t have been further from the truth. Everywhere he looked all he saw was his vision blocked by the snow. What a disappointment! After a long time of Bob traversing the bare village streets, he sat down on a bench. He either was contemplating life (which would not have ended well) or he was staring at a tree. If I were to guess, I would say contemplating life as with a life like his, it is Mr Bean all again!

Adjacent to him, there was a peculiar lamp post. Each time he looks over the lamp changes colour like a chameleon but on 5 times speed. Out of nowhere, Bob heard a voice. Where did it come from? There is no one around him. He looked to his left and saw a lamp with a mouth!

“AAAAHHHHH!!” screamed Bob at the top of his lungs.

“Sir there is no need to worry. I will not be any harm.” reassured the lamp post.

Not only did Bob have to deal with a talking lamppost, he also realised his bench flew away and he had to hold onto to the lamppost or he would probably fly to another dimension. The whole deal wasn’t about who could survive the longest but maybe instead a screaming contest.

After their lovely piece of music called ‘Mayhem by a random lamp post and Bob’ was over, they all settled down but instead of settling down, Bob settled on the other side of the country. As far away as he could get to the lamp post.
