Who this is suitable for

Children preparing for 11+ grammar and independent school exams.

What we cover

• Fiction writing.
• Non-fiction writing.
• All writing skills (figurative language, sentence and text structure and punctuation).

What your child will achieve:

• Confidence to plan and write exam texts, no matter how challenging.
• Complete knowledge of all writing techniques.
• Stretched vocabulary and language application.
• No more writing gaps.

Here’s what happens:

• Ten weekly classes (recorded so you can watch again).
• The first class is an initial assessment class so your child's strengths and areas for improvement can be quickly identified.
• Weekly homework and meaningful marking of class work and homework.
• Regular writing assessments (with your target schools in mind).
• Written assessment reports with video feedback so you know exactly how your child is progressing.

Important details of our online classes:

• A 10-week course of 1.5 hours a week, led by highly experienced and qualified teacher and tutor, Anna.
• Maximum class size of 6 students.
• Weekly lesson materials and personal feedback are shared via Dropbox.
• This course delivers Term 3 of a 3-term curriculum. The curriculum is designed to be suitable for children who are just joining for one term, as well as long-standing students.

Terms & Conditions:

• Once booked, places can be cancelled within seven days, and then places are non-refundable as per the Terms and Conditions. Please book a call with Anna to discuss the curriculum and its suitability for your child.
• If your child cannot attend a session, Anna will send out the class recording, and work can still be submitted for marking.
• Classes ARE recorded and shared just with the 6 students in the group.
• One learner per booking. If two children from the same household join, please use separate devices in separate rooms to maximise their individual learning.
• Cameras to remain on to help with interaction with others and teacher support and feedback.
